This congregation follows a traditional Lutheran liturgy, utilizing the three-year lectionary, and the Lutheran Book of Worship, 1978.
This congregation practices “open communion”. We invite all who believe that our Lord’s body and blood are truly and essentially present in the bread and wine to share in the sacrament. We believe Christians are worthy to receive communion when, according to the teaching of Scripture and Lutheran tradition the words, “given and shed for you” are accepted by grace through faith. You may receive the wine by dipping the bread into the dipping chalice or by drinking from the principle chalice. (Holy Communion currently being offered the third Sunday of each month due to limited pulpit supply, and by intinction.)
Thank you attending. Please stay after service to share in fellowship.God Bless!
